What is an Ornithopter? It is a plane like model with FLAPPING wings. There are large models of this design that are being developed for security and reconnisence work by the U.S. military. They resemble a sea gull in flight and will be able to take pictures without being noticed.

Leonardo Da Vinci was a man ahead of his time and created many beautiful design's for flying machines.  If you are looking for something out of the ordinary, then look no further. This design was inspired by plans drawn up by the master himself.

Using piano wire, some balsa, sheer film paper, and a rubber band motor to achive flight is possible with this kit. An engineering marvel, that you can build. It is not the hardest of kits to take on, although quite different from conventional flight planes. A bit of patience and some dedication will give you a most satisfying flying machine.
